EXTRALIMO connects talents with hospitality and restaurant businesses, with real human support. Not a job board: a team that selects, proposes and follows every match.

01 Why
Restaurants struggle to hire, and candidates struggle to find the right spots. In France, nothing is really built for this industry. The project was born from two professionals of the trade. Having worked in restaurants myself, I immediately saw how right the need was, and I built the platform that answers it.

02 The approach
a.People before the algorithm
No automatic matching: every match is decided by the team, often after a simple phone call. I built a suggestion engine that supports the decision, without ever replacing it.
b.Privacy as the golden rule
Contact details are never exposed, neither on the candidate side nor the business side. A non-negotiable business rule, written into the code.
c.The whole industry covered
Extra, seasonal, fixed-term, permanent, apprenticeship. From dishwashing to the front desk, the platform fits the real needs of the field.
d.Built to last
Developed in Laravel: sign-up without an account, placement tracking, profile imports, notifications. A solid base, in production.
EXTRALIMO is online (extralimo.fr), in its launch phase, with local roots in Touraine. I developed the entire platform, also bringing my own ideas to the site and the business logic, drawing on my past in restaurants. The name? « Extra » for the extra shifts, « limo » for the limonadier, the waiter's corkscrew. A nod to the trade.
